FAQ

Commercial Property Loan questions

It depends on your credit score, income, the loan amount and tenure, and the lender you apply with, and for a secured loan, the property itself. Rates also change over time, so we don't publish a figure. Once we've reviewed your profile, we'll share lender-specific terms.

No. This loan covers shops, offices, and other commercial premises only. For a residential purchase, a home loan is the right product — see our Home Loan page.

A commercial property loan finances a property you are buying. A loan against property — often called a mortgage loan — raises funds against a property you already own.

Lenders finance a share of the property's assessed value and keep the rest as your contribution. For commercial premises that share is usually smaller than for a home, and it depends on the lender, the property, and your profile.

The lender arranges an independent property valuation as part of the approval process, which factors into the maximum loan amount offered.
